I received all the India medical visit information with a very well planned itinerary, I and my husband were met and greeted by Life Smile representative at the airport on the arrival, we were provided with a cell phone for emergency contacts and the with international call facility to keep in touch with our family and friends, we were transferred from airport in a luxury SUV to our Hotel. All of the transfers to our hospital for all of our pre-surgery tests, consultations, surgery and post-surgery were very comfortable and on time. The whole of the surgery treatment process at the hospital in India went very well and I felt very happy and comfortable with my surgeon and the surgery team.
After the surgery and recuperation we enjoyed visiting the city, a sight seeing tour and shopping with Life Smile representative. We enjoyed our peaceful recuperation for 24 days in exotic Goa. I lost my weight during my stay in India after my surgery and during my pre-departure consultations with my surgeon i felt very good of it. Thanks to my very supportive surgeon and Life Smile my health care tour to India was very comfortable and everything went very well, I am very happy with the surgery results and i look forward to great time ahead.

After my initial query and receiving all the details, my Bariatric surgeon started answering to my queries and concerns on my Lap Band surgery which made me feel very relaxed and confident. In New Delhi, my guardian angel Life Smile made sure that me and my sister have everything we needed, from all the private car transfers, hospital appointment, comfortable accommodation, medicines, food, well, everything, and always with a big smile. On the day before the surgery I was received by the surgery team at the hospital for consultations, examinations, pre-surgery tests and some "before" photographs.
With Life Smile and at the hospital in India, they were all amazing and extremely helpful people! I was very relaxed on the day of the surgery because I knew in details all that was about to be performed during the procedure, I was so prepared for it that I couldn't wait any longer. My Laparoscopic / bariatric surgeon had said to me while explaining the surgery procedure that "it is not a miracle surgery, it needs lots of work and efforts from me as well and a strong determined will to change my lifestyle permanently" but it was a miracle for me, without a doubt. The Indian Hospital, left me speechless, I was amazed by the advanced technology, all the nurses who looked after me, their attention to details helped to make me feel at comfortable best, overall a fantastic healthcare experience.
During my post surgery stay at the hotel, Life Smile arranged for the recommended hourly liquid diet and the juices, Life Smile not only ensured for the medicine supply at my hotel room but also arranged for a doctor who visited me at the hotel room to give me the recommended subcutaneous shots of inject able medicine, i even had time for a one day tour around Delhi- very well organized by Life Smile. I spent 08 days in India and came back home having made new friends over there. Now, December, 2006, a month after surgery, I have lost 21 pounds of weight and i have started to enjoy my new life. It was all miracle and i can't thank enough to all of them for all that I have got from my India healthcare tour, i've got a new life.
